Approximately, 1.7 million people will be diagnosed with cancer in the United States alone, this year, according to the American Cancer Society. Upon diagnosis, they will encounter numerous doctor's visits, tests and treatments... all while processing the emotional hammer that is pounding away on not only their minds but that of their family and friends too! They are feeling anxious, uneasy, uncertain and more than anything...SCARED!
Sock It! Cancer's ultimate goal is to create a feeling of warmth and comfort one pair of knitted socks at a time! We can't cure cancer with a pair of socks but we can definitely warm their hearts and their toes! And with each pair of socks will come a message of HOPE!
